Slugworks

Whoa, whoa, whoa! In USA Today today, The 12 Days of Springtime was featured as one of four great books for spring! Look for it in the May 14th issue on page D3. They didn’t use a photo of my ugly mug, but the book is there, so hey hey!

I haven’t posted in a while, sorry. The other news is that I was inducted into the East Muskingum School District Alumni Hall of Fame, woot! Haha, I went out to Ohio for the ceremony and it was a night to remember – the chicken was dry, the green beans were overcooked, and the mashed potatoes were from a box (although the gravy was quite good!), but the evening went well, and people seemed to like what I had to say – namely that it is ok if you don’t know what you are going to do with your life and it is ok if you change your mind anyway, and that high school sucks but things will get better. And as I was leaving the podium, one girl told me that she really liked my outfit, so I would say that was a success! I’ll post pictures when/if I get any!
