Hello! Yes, I do exist. Sorry I’ve been absent for so long. No excuses! So let’s try to catch up on the most recent news.
In November and December I was honored to be included in a show of children’s book art at the Discovery Center in Portsmouth NH. This show included so many wonderful artists and made me realize once again how many amazing children’s book illustrators and authors live in the area! The show was called Show and Tell and included three pieces from each artist from the same book in order to show how pictures can tell a story even without words. Mine were from the book I Love You More than Moldy Ham and I also was asked to bring a couple of pieces of my fiber art.
Since the new year I’ve been working on a couple of paintings – I am really too slow a painter, ugh – and trying to submit a couple of stories to different publishers. Always a fraught effort! And it seems it is already time to think about the spring open studios at the Salmon Falls Mills, where I have my studio – it’s almost March! Agh!
Anyway, here are the paintings I’ve been working on:
And I’ll try to be a little more active on here in the future!
